Query: Is Linux a Dangerous Desktop Working Gadget?

I simply watched the final “Home windows 10 keynote” and it sort of feels an excellent os.
I need to be fair I have by no means used Linux however whilst I used to be staring at the keynote I assumed that, no less than till now, it is absurd the usage of an os like Linux as a desktop os whilst there are merchandise like Microsoft Home windows or Apple Os X available on the market.
Linux is a beast as server os and that is plain however individually completely inferior than Os X or Home windows as desktop os.
I believe commonplace consumer use Linux just for etic causes and no longer as a result of this can be a awesome product; they hate other people like Steve Jobs or Invoice Gates on account of their cash and their luck after which so as to not convey additional positive aspects to Apple or Microsoft they make a decision to stick with Linux.
I’ve a Samsung pill and an LG smartphone with Android and I’ve to confess that could be a beautiful just right os for that units however I would not ever use Android or Chrome OS for my laptop specifically in a piece setting or for gaming.
What do you consider it? Am I mistaken?
